    Qualifications: The primary responsibility for the Resident Helper is to assist the nursing staff with the residents and their individual needs as required. Full-scope processing of multi-state bi-weekly payroll, including time and attendance adjustments, off-cycle payments & deductions, manual checks, maintenance of employee schedules and time worked, pay rules, reconciliations, etc. Also, responsible for entering wage garnishments, employment verification's, issuing annual performance reviews, and maintaining employee benefit plan. Experience with ADP Workforce is a requirement as well as knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and compliance that apply to Human Resource and Payroll programs including FLSA, FMLA, COBRA, etc.

    Qualifications: General Overview: As the Social Worker, the main focus is to serve as a liaison between the residents and their family members, staff members of various departments and community resource representatives while assuming the role of an advocate for the social and emotional needs of the residents. Basic Requirements: 1. Must have a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field. 2. One (1) year of Social Work supervised experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals; or similar qualification. 3. Strong external and internal relationship, presentation and communication skills. 4. Capable of independent judgment, initiative and ingenuity 5. Basic skill in the use of computer software applications for drafting documents, data management, and tracking Preferred Requirements: 1. Possess a master’s degree in social work or related field. 2. Licensed or certified by a state to independently practice social work at the master's degree level. 3. A minimum of two years post graduate social work. 4. Experience with geriatric population in a long-term care setting. Basic Responsibilities: 1. Complete pre-admission interviews and conduct tours for prospective residents and/or their families 2. Offer social and emotional support services to residents and/or families to respond to, as needed, intermittent situations and conditions. 3. Complete Social histories and updates. 4. Complete Social Services Assessments and Re-assessments. 5. Participate in Care Plan Development and documentation. 6. Coordinate discharge planning among residents, family members, and staff. 7. Make referrals to community resources. 8. Assist with information and referrals to agencies for financial assistance, medical services, home health services, and other community resources. 9. Coordinate family education and support programs. 10. Communicates with the medical staff, nursing personnel, and other department supervisors. 11. Ability to work with patients and families who are experiencing a variety of psychiatric, medical, and social problems utilizing individual, group, and family counseling skills.
